Build a Safe Home for Vulnerable Families in Koratty, Kerala
Two vulnerable families in Koratty village, Kerala, are currently living in unsafe housing conditions. Their home has been severely damaged by weather and is now covered with a temporary tarpaulin roof. The structure is weak, unsafe, and lacks proper sanitation.
The parents depend on irregular daily wages, making it extremely difficult for them to repair or rebuild the house on their own. These living conditions are also affecting the children’s health, safety, and school attendance.
With your support, we will build a permanent, weatherproof home with 2–3 rooms, including:
Durable roof
Plastered walls
Safe flooring
Secure doors and windows
Sanitary toilet
Basic kitchen
Water connection
The project will use local materials and local labor wherever possible, helping support the surrounding community while providing the families with a safe and dignified place to live.
Photos attached show the current condition of the home, including the tarpaulin-covered roof and weakened walls. We will continue to share updates and photos as construction progresses.
Fundraising Target: ₹6,00,000, approximately $6,500 per house
Location: Koratty, Kerala, India
Goal: Provide safe, permanent housing for vulnerable families in urgent need
Your contribution will help give these families more than a house. It will give them safety, dignity, better health, and a stable environment for their children’s education.
