Art Lovers of America(ALA) and Care & Share are joining hands together with following partners to send Life Saving Medical Equipment to fight COVID-19, working with medical officials in Kerala.

The Indian state of Kerala is amid its fight against the second wave of Covid 19 pandemic. This time, unfortunately, it appears to be a bigger challenge. With the best of public health systems and a capable leadership, the state had been able to contain the first wave effectively.
Despite elaborate preparations, the increasing infection rate is putting the systems under pressure. The state has adopted drastic measures to contain the spread. There are limits to which the state can augment its healthcare facilities to take on the speed and intensity of this second wave.
We can help the state fill the gaps in critical areas not to overwhelm the systems and resources.
Who are we?
Medical Equipment fundraiser for Kerala COVID 19 has been launched to support Kerala by ALA and Care & Share in partnership of below organizations.
ALA – Art Lovers of America ( www.artloversofamerica.org), is a non-profit organization that promotes Indian cultural activities among the Keralites across the USA.
Care & Share (www.careandshare.com), is a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization that serves the community by providing disaster response, medical and research support and addressing homelessness.
Kerala Medical Services Corporation (KMSCL) is a fully owned Government Company for providing services to the various health care institutions under the department of Family Welfare as per Section 617 of Companies Act; 1956. KMSCL is the official consignee on behalf of Government of Kerala for receiving the medical relief materials from overseas donors is Kerala Medical Services Corporation Ltd (KMSCL)
Malayalam Mission (mami.kerala.gov.in) is a project launched by the Government of Kerala to provide Malayalam language learning opportunities to expatriate Malayalees.
GAMA - Greater Austin Malayalee Association The objective of GAMA is to spread the ideals of compassion, care and support, and thus preserve the culture of Kerala in the true tradition of peace and brotherhood. GAMA organizes a variety of cultural and charitable events throughout the year with the intention of bringing the community together.
How are the funds going to be utilized?
Our goal is to raise an amount of $100,000 by May 31, 2021, to support the hospitals in Kerala with necessary hospital equipment. 100% of the funds raised will be used to procure and purchase these medical equipment (Oxygen Concentrators, Oxyflow valves, Pulse oximeters, N95 masks) from USA and then ship to Kerala. Proper distribution channels have been established through state health officials.
