Tony Devassy

Tony Devassy, Principal of Devassy Asset Advisors, has over 23 years of experience providing excellent financial advice to his clients. For more than 20 years he served as a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors Inc and was the recipient of the Great Citizen Award in 2000. Indian American Kerala Cultural and Civic Center of New York awarded Tony for his outstanding services in Philanthropy in November 2002.

Tony is married to Dr. Elsy Devassy, who is a practicing psychiatrist in Joliet, IL. Together with their three daughters, they enjoy traveling, fishing and staying involved in their community and in various charitable organizations, worldwide.

Ashley A Elenjickal
VICE PRESIDENT

Ashley got a bachelors degree in Electronics & Comm engineering from Govt. Engineering College, Trichur, Kerala and Masters in Software Engineering from Seattle University, Washington. He currently works as a design engineer in Sharepoint Test team at Microsoft Headquarters in Redmond, Washington. He lives in Bothell, WA with his wife and daughter.
 

Prem Menon. M. D.
DIRECTOR, Health Care

Health Care Director of Care & Share, Dr. Menon has an illustrious career in the Medical profession. Educated at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A. and Louisiana State University U.S.A., Dr. Menon is a specialist in Allergy & Immunology. He serves as assistant professor at LSU Medical Center, Shreveport, Louisiana, U.S.A. and on the board of several State and National Medical Organizations. Dr. Menon is listed in “The Best Doctors in America”, 1996-1997 Woodward/White Inc. As author of numerous medical publications, Dr. Menon is called upon as an expert in the field of Immunology by many International Organizations, Television Stations, Radio Stations and Research Associations. He has been the prime force behind the Free Asthma Clinics held by Care & Share over the last five years in many parts of India. He lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, U.S.A. with his wife and son.

Antony Thaliath
DIRECTOR, Health Care

Director of Care & Share, Mr Thaliath holds a masters degree in business administration from St.Johnʼs University, New York. He is the president of Taliat Investments, Inc and American Software Consultants, Inc. He has been associated with various Indo-American associations and initiatives for more than a decade. He has won awards from Gandhi Foundation in 2000 and New York Kerala Center in 2005 for his humanitarian services. He lives in Atlanta with his family.

Elsy Devassy. M. D.

As a Director of Care & Share Dr. Devassy brings to the organization many talents. She has completed her Residency program in Kingston Ontario Canada at the Queens University. Dr Devassy earned diplomas from the American Board of Forensic Medicine, and American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. Her achievements include: Flex-Medical Licensing Board of Indiana, 16 years as a medical professional in Psychiatry, Vice Chairperson at the Department of Psychiatry of St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet, Illinois, U.S.A., Member of the American College of Examiners, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and Past Clinical Instructor at the Department of Psychiatry, Michigan State University. Dr Devassy is currently in private practice as a Psychiatrist in Joliet, Illinois, U.S.A. She lives with her husband and three children in Lockport, Illinois, U.S.A.

P. Gopalakrishnan. M. D.
DIRECTOR, Health Care

Health Care Director of Care & Share, Dr. Gopalakrishnan has earned his medical qualifications mainly in the field of Surgery from New York Medical School and University of Maryland, Baltimore, Maryland U.S.A. He is a Fellow of American college of Surgeons, Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Gopalakrishnan’s background includes a two year term as the chief of surgery at Beckley Hospital, West Virginia, U.S.A. As a humanitarian he was recognized as the Rotarian of the Year 1994-95. He is currently the Chief of Surgery, Marion County Medical Center, U.S.A.

Andrew Thomas
CPA - Secretary

Mr. Andrew Thomas, CPA, is working as Asst. Controller of ASAP Software, located in Buffalo Grove, IL. Andrew has a Masters Degree in Accounting and a CPA designation from the University of Illinois. Andrew is a member of the ICPAS (Illinois CPA Society) and lives in Northbrook, IL with his wife, Tessie, an RN, and his 3 daughters. He is actively involved with his church, Syro Malabar Catholic Mission in Bellwood, IL. He is also the finance coordinator for the Cathedral construction.
